Warszawa, sobota 12.10 wizyta gościa z USA

Wszystko wskazuje na to, że za tydzień w wawie pojawi sie członek klubu Shelby z USA, który jest w trakcie podróży po Europie.

Chcę przygotować mu bardzo nietypowy pobyt w wawie.
Fajnie by było gdybyscie przyłączyli sie do nas i powitali go czy tez wspólnie wybrali sie na nocne wypady.


Chcę pokazać mu wawe jakiej jako turysta nie zazna
chciałbym aby miał szanse przejechać sie po wawie dużym fiatem lub poltkiem
Może uda mi sie załatwić aby przez chwile został operatorem kamery w studio Wydarzeń w Polsacie
Może zostanie taksowkarzem choćby na jeden przejazd
Może ktoś ma jakieś znajomosci w straży pożarnej...
Może też chwila na basenie w intercontinentalu...

Może macie jeszcze jakieś pomysły????

Ma być bardzo intensywnie, ma mieć poczucie, że przestał ogarniać co się dzieje;)

Oczywiście wszyscy jesteście zaproszeni w sobotę na spotkanie z gościem. Im będzie nas wiecej tym lepiej:)

Za Kargulem, trzeba mu dać tego czego oni tam nie mają.

Poldek, Duży Fiat? Może, może... A nie lepiej przejażdżka Maluchem? Zakładając że się do niego zmieści, to mogłoby być dla niego nowe doświadczenie. Silnik o pojemności 660c i 27 koni moze go nieźle zszokować.

... a może oprócz "zaszłości historycznych" pokazać Mu też nowoczesną Warszawę ... aby za bardzo nie utwierdzać naszych zachodnich dalszych sąsiadów że u nas - tak jak niestety na prawie na każdej wystawie lub innej promocji kraju - są tylko Mazowszanki, góralska muzyka, chleb i wódka itp. ..... choć sam lubię w górach coś łyknąć przy muzyce w towarzystwie Śwarnej Dziołchy ...
Reasumując - coś HOSTORYCZNIE NASZEGO co było kiedyś - JESTEM ZA ale i coś NOWECZESNEGO - np. powitać go stadem Mustangów, Intercontinental - fakt ten basenik robi wrażenie - zależy co ta Osoba lubi , czy iść do jakiegoś Klubu na imprezkę, czy woli iść do jakiegoś Muzeum ... a może przyjedzie z Małżonką i pójdzie na Szoping , Nie wiem czy woli iść na Chłopskie jadło - czy może do Hard Rocka.

Mustangs Rule the World
When I was gainfully employed, that is before I retired, I traveled quite a bit for my job. Whenever I traveled I always tried to look up a Mustang club in the area. I met with quite a bit or success. I have talked and met with Mustangers from Iowa to Louisiana to Pennsylvania to upstate New York. Good people, good cars and good times.
My wife and I have been traveling the world for the last 25 years. On our last trip which took us to Eastern Europe, I decided to go international. I got this idea reading the BOD minutes, I am the MCA rep. for our club, the WNY Shelby and Mustang Club, and saw that there was a MCA club in Italy. I also saw a video on Utube about the Mustang Klub of Polska. See, they do a “Mustang Race” every year. This year they went from Krakow Poland to Warsaw to Berlin to Prague, Czech Republic. They have a professional photo photographer in the club that made the fantastic video that was posted. We didn’t go to Italy, but we did go to Vienna, Austria and Krakow Poland on our trip though.
So with that said, I tried emailing the MCA, Mustang Club of Austria and the Mustang Klub of Polska and asked for tips on what to do and good places to eat. Susan, from the Austrian Club, and I emailed back and forth a couple of times with tips on what to do, where to eat, where the good spots were and how to get there from the hotel where we were staying. As it turned out, they were great tips.
As for the Mustang Klub Polska, these guys kept telling me how good Polish hospitality is. Jakub and I emailed back and forth a couple of times talking about the Race that they held this year and last. I gave him the dates that I would be in Krakow. He asked me what hotel we were staying at. He told me that I was in luck and that he would be in town when we were there and that maybe we could meet and talk Mustangs. I left it there. Then on the day my wife and I were in town, I got another email saying that “they” would be at the hotel at 8:00pm. OK, this will work for me. Well, let me tell you. 8:00 rolled around and I heard the thunder of roaring Mustangs coming down the street. Now you have to understand that in Krakow, Poland the 5th and 6th century streets are not like the 20th century streets of the USA. They are narrow, JUST two lanes plus sidewalks, and run between 4 to 6 story sandstone buildings. The eco of the Stangs roar was tremendous. And then, into the hotel parking lot pulls 4 Mustangs with 6 guys in them. They included two early 2000, one GT and one Cobra and two 2008, one a GT and the other one a Bullet, noumber 74, in Black. Yes, Black not green. Oh ya and he had a Kenny Bell super charger on top of it. People started pouring out of the hotel to see the cars and take pictures. I was in heaven. These guys went out of their way to come see another Mustanger, from another country that they didn’t know. So we did what any person would do, we talked cars. They started them, revved the engines up and we lessoned to the throb of the engines. Then Jakub, Adrian, Stanislaw and Michal suggested we go for a ride, and ride we did. We went to a “cruise night”. There were the four Mustangs, a ’71 Buick Grand Sport, a Pontiac Catalina and a verity of ‘80s and ‘90s Polish, Czech and Russian cars there. Very interesting. These guys are just as into cars as we in the states are. Only with different cars. We talked more cars. And then, because we all had early mornings the next day, the night was over. Almost. The ride back to the hotel consisted of Stanislaw and his Bullet with Jakub riding shotgun and Adrian and his 2001 Cobra and me in shotgun. I can’t tell you or describe how it was racing through the streets of Krakow. And I won’t tell you how fast we were going. They told me that in Krakow, Mustangs are a car to that MUST be noticed. We were.
When we got back to the hotel we had to say good bye but not farewell. I asked them, why Mustangs? They told me that not only are they great fun cars, but in doing research, they found that the Mustangs are: safer, more reliable and economical, gas mileage wise and price wise, more bang for your buck, than the cars they could buy there. Besides, they are really cool.
So it was goodbye for now. They gave me a tee shirt from there club that I will forever cherish, I gave Jakub one from ours. And they were off with a roar, I could hear them for 5 minutes after they left. They said they are coming to the States next September to do a tour from Detroit to California via route 66 through Los Vegas to check out the Shelby shop and then on to Saleen. I plan on seeing them then. Maybe you will too. Jakau was right about the Polish hospitality.

Dzięki!;) Poszło w Świat!;) Kuba wykonał do mnie telefon, ja wysłałem smsy do chłopaków, odebrałem Kube, spotkaliśmy się wszyscy 15 min wcześniej na parkingu. Obgadaliśmy plan na wieczór i na koń;)
