Hello !

My name is Pawel and I represent Mustang Club Poland. As you may already know we are fairly young Mustang club, founded in 2008 but since then we are growing bigger and try to gather all Mustang enthusiasts all over Poland. I know Mustang Raiders Club has been operating since 2003 and has much more experience.

There is a main reason why I am contacting you, I will try to give you short overview …

This summer (30th June – 3th July) we organized a Mustang Race 2011 through the whole Poland from Sandomierz to Kolobrzeg (above 700km). This event in our opinions was very successful and of course our Club wants to throw another one next year making it our main Mustang event.

In order to promote our Mustang Race 2011 we produced a short promotion video which you can watch on You Tube:

The movie was made only by club members in their free time with no other support. It did get very good opinions all over world among Mustang owners, fans and journalists who run many blogs and other car industry related websites. Here you can find some examples:

This year we decided to throw another production to the world and the premiere of Mustang Race 2012 movie takes place on 10th of December. Shelby & Mustang world will be able to watch it on our website:

It will be available at 10 p.m. on Saturday. I hope you like it. Now, getting to the point … our next year Mustang Race 2012 has its start place in Kudowa Zdroj which is just by our borders, 47km from Hradec Kralove and we thought it would be a good idea to make a small meeting with our friends from Mustang Riders Club of Czech Republic. We would like to invite all Mustang owners and fans to come and join us at the start place or maybe if there will be an interest take part in the race (August 15th 2012) !!!

Greetings Pawel,

thank you for your message and for invitation to MR2012. We have
really enjoyed your video from MR2011, it was perfect. New video
is quite interesting, the commuity building type - very nice.

Sadly this year we have been invited to join the race only for some
rare cars. We do already have exclussive cars here - for example
original Shelby GT500 and more, but our clubmates were demoti-
vated there's some kind of preselection of cars.

If we present your event to our clubmembers to make a trip to
start of your race, you need to count with about 20-30 Mustangs.
If you like us to organize a trip, we are able to bring all our cars
together at one time and wherever you plan to park your cars,
we like to park all CZ cars together - is it possible to arrange like
this?

What should be the timeplan of meeting with us before race?
I need complex info for our members like:

9:00 arival
10:00 breakfast
11:00 music
12:00 lunch
13:00 music
14:00 official start of race
than we leave around 17:00 etc.

What are the conditions if somebody wants to "race" with the
rest of your clubmates?

Wynika z tego że przed MR2011 jakis kontakt z naszej strony był i czesc ludzi poczuła sie zdemotywowana bo ponoć chcielismy same rarytaski zaprosić a "zwykłe" auta już nie. Nie wnikam.
Chętnie by podjechali na start lub nawet na cały rajd, w tym wątku wrzucajmy za i przeciw bo harmonogram ktory proponuje Jan nam nie za bardzo pasuje. W samym rajdzie mogą jechać jak dla mnie nawet ciekawiej.
Potem im odpisze jak już uzgodnimy swoje stanowisko.

MR to impreza otwarta. Kraj pochodzenia załogi i pojazdu nie ma znaczenia. Zasady są proste i nie ma nad czym się zastanawiać: zgłoszenie, wpisowe, akceptacja regulaminu. Specjalne życzenia nas nie interesują, szkoda na to czasu, nikogo nie powinniśmy traktować specjalnie. Wszystko.
Jeżeli Czesi chcą uczestniczyć, to świetnie, ale na ogólnych zasadach. Kto wysyłał do nich informację przed MR 2011 i jakiej treści - nie wiem...

Ja z klubem czeskim nie miałem żadnego kontaktu. Tylko ze słowackim bo poznałem Prezesa.

Natomiast nawet jakbym miał kontakt ze Słowakami to by mi do głowy nie przyszło żeby ich poprosić tylko o najlepsze fury a reszta może zostać w domu.

Tak czy siak, uważam że sprawę trzeba wyjaśnić. Pavulon - napisz do niego i spytaj się skąd dostali informację, że tylko rodzynki mogą przyjechać. Może imprezy im się pomyliły?
Nie ma co tego pod dywan zamiatać bo smród zostanie jak od razu nie załatwimy sprawy.

Kubuś, relax, może ktoś jakiegoś byka w angielskim zrobił albo Pepiki źle odczytały. Różne się sytuacje zarzają, niemniej jednak warto dotrzeć do źródła w tej kwestii.

Panowie, spoko, ja się nie denerwuję

Nie ma o co kopii kruszyć. Natomiast koniecznie trzeba sprawę pociągnąć bo może faktycznie z jakiegoś małego byczka wyrosnąć sprawa na wagę Minotaura.
Pavulon - jeśli masz kontakt z gościem to możesz sprawdzić co i od kogo otrzymali? Najlepiej w oryginale.

I will provide you with specific info on our schedule in Kudowa by Czech border, it rather may be like: arrival 14.00-16.00 lunch/dinner 17.00 music 18.00 till 23.00, start of race in the morning next day. But please don't take it as a sure 100% fact yet.
Regarding entering for the MR2012 --> of course it is possible, the race is open, not only for our club members. We are now organizing all the details but I can say unofficialy now that: entrance fee is around 350 EUR and you have all hotel bookings included (five star hotel in Kolobrzeg at the end of the race) and 200 EUR gas coupons for BP stations included. So far so good but we sill talk to potential sponsor and so on. Officaly we have enrollment open till the end of December (29 cars are now in the race) however it might change. I will be informing you if anything changes.

spoko dzieki za tipa, info już poszło wiec erraty wysylac raczej nie bede

bedziemy gadac dalej zobaczymy jak sytuacja się rozwinie, fajny byłby taki międzynardowy rajd

Poniżej kolejne info z Czech, jak sie okazuje kontaktował się z nimi horse ale jak pisze dalej prawdopodobnie była już 30tka zabookowana. Mniejsza z tym. Opiszę im dokładnie na czym polega impreza, jak dokładnie się rozkładają koszty itp (wcześniej zrobiłem tylko zajawkę) bo widać że ich to interesuje i chętnie przyjadą, nawet w kilka aut. Wykluczam oczywiscie jakiekolwiek mozliwości decydowania ze przyjedzie na start i wtedy ktos bedzie podejmował decyzje bo taka sugestia tez w mailu się pojawiła.

about the Race 2011 i have spoken some time with Jarek Brzeminski.
Maybe we just started to register late and it wasn't possible to be added
on starting grid.

Ok so i need more info about the race now. If our guys arrive on 29.6.
afternoon and they enjoy a starting party with other racers, right? They
have hotel bookings and 5* in Kolobrzeg. No food/drink is included?
350E is for car, not for person, right? How many persons should be
in each car? Just for exact info.

And the main answer goes to the race itself. Is it really an aggressive
race in public traffic? Do you count times of each racer? Do you go in
a column or everybody has only the finish address and meets together
at the hotel? Are you comming on mainroads or you go on not important
ways? I have been in Poland several times and most of roads aren't
nothing you can be proud of :-) Btw: Our roads suxx too.

How many cars from CZ you are able to accept? I think there should
be about 3-10 cars, maybe more, we'll see.

If somebody comes with us to Kudowa, makes a booze with everybody
and after the start he decide to go home, is it possible? Where he'd
sleep / park his Mustang than?

I also need registration form for our guys. Feel free to attach it.
